Obituary of Daniel Roberts

Daniel A Roberts, 40, of Hamilton NJ entered into God's loving arms on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at home. Born in Trenton, He was a life-long Hamilton resident. Daniel was employed by the NJDEP, Division of Fish and Wildlife as a Wildlife Biologist. Dan attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and graduated from Rutgers University. As a teen Dan was a member of the Mercer County 4-H Seeing Eye Puppy Club raising seven puppies. He enjoyed trips to Canada, fishing, and reading. Dan was an avid NY Rangers hockey fan and regularly followed RPI hockey. Predeceased by his sister Nicole Roberts, and his grandparents, Wallace F. Jenkins, Edward C. Roberts, and Naomi E. Roberts. Dan is survived by his loving wife, Dawn (Appelget) Roberts; his parents Regina and Charles Roberts of South Carolina, and sister, Andrea Roberts of South Carolina. He is also survived by his grandmother Sylvia Jenkins of Hamilton, mother-in-law Christine Gaskill, of Hamilton and several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Arrangements are under the care of D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel (2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619). Visitation will be on Monday, January 23, 2017 beginning at 5:00 PM, followed by a funeral liturgy at 7:30 PM. Interment will be Thursday January 26 at 11am at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton Ave entrance.
